Dove Hospice & Wellness is a not-for-profit organisation that provides care and support for patients with life-threatening illnesses. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Driver/Warehouse Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a fulfilling role that combines driving and warehousing duties.

What we offer:

  • Great working hours: Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
  • $500 Sign on bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and collecting goods to and from our 7 retail shops (East Auckland Area), distribution warehouse and client estates.
  • Loading and unloading of goods from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Picking and packing of goods for delivery and distribution.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Providing friendly, exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver’s licence (Class 1) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 20kg).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working in a warehouse would be an advantage.

Counselling Team Leader

Full Time | Auckland

Seeking a Counselling Team Leader

The position is full-time. However, we would consider a 0.8 FTE for the right person.

Our philosophy: We have a multidisciplinary model of care that rests on the foundations of Manaakitanga Kindness, Hauora Wellbeing, and Aroha love.

  • Counselling Team Leader Position:

    • To manage and lead a team of counsellors.
    • Manage and triage referrals to the counselling team.
    • To hold your own caseload of clients with complex needs.
    • Ideally would have experience group therapy facilitation.
    • To provide relevant clinical insights to the multidisciplinary team.
    • Facilitate education sessions for staff.

     

    The successful applicant will:

    • Be sensitive, empathetic, and able to provide holistic care, involving spiritual, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
    • Have experience working compassionately with people who are suffering, those who are dying, and people that are grieving, in both groups and one-to-one settings.
    • Be committed to ongoing professional, and personal development and wellbeing.
    • Be committed to equity, diversity, and the uniqueness of everyone in our community.
    • Communicate effectively and respectfully across different disciplines to promote excellence in client care.
    • Team leadership experience is preferrable; coaching and growing team members while ensuring patient support and outcomes are our priority.
